Our housekeepers often have a limited time to clean the house for the next guest, so your help with the following items at checkout is greatly appreciated!Checkout time is 11:00 a.m. You can expect the housekeeper around this time.
1.Please load and start the dishwasher and clean any residual dishes in the sink before you leave. It is important that you do this due to the long dish washing and drying cycle.If you have time, we would appreciate it if you empty the dishwasher as well. This is a big help to our housekeepers!
2.Please empty the trash and recycle to the appropriate garbage cans OUTSIDE on the north side of house.All trash must fit in the cans.If there is excess, please put in garbage bags and leave next to the garbage cans.
3.Please make sure that the Nest central heat thermostat is set to off, the fireplace gas is turned off, the kitchen steamer/oven/stove are off. The fireplace gas key can remain in the on position. Please make sure the barbeque grill knobs and gas shut off valve are both off. Please make sure any other automatic appliances are turned off like the coffee .Check that all electronics are turned off (TVs, DVDs). Turn off all inside and outside lights.
4.Please make sure to leave the Nuvo sound Nyrius Bluetooth adapter in the silver metal containers others may enjoy the sound system. Make sure not to leave your ipod or phone attached to the docking station.
5.If you have used any of the games or playing cards, please put them away.
6.Please remove the sheets from any beds that were used or at least leave it unmade. If extra pillows were used, remove pillow cases and place on bed.
7.Please remove all food items that you brought from the refrigerator and cabinets. If you have purchased oils or spices that you would like to leave, please do.
8.Check all closets, drawers and washer/dryer to ensure you have not left anything here. Check all electrical outlets and rooms for electronic/phone chargers and ipods and smartphones.
9.Please fill out Guest Feedback sheet and note any problems that you encountered with our home as well as any other feedback you have.
10.Please close and lock all windows and doors.
11.Place the keys back in the same place as when you arrived and lock.
12.Ensure that the front door is locked when you leave. Leave through the garage. Use the garage door keypad to close the garage door. Thanks for choosing our home.
13.A request for your help:The biggest challenge that our housekeepers have is getting all the laundry done. We would really appreciate it if you could begin the laundering of the towels before your departure.
